Radhames Liz threw a slider in the second inning, and it froze Michael Cuddyer to end the inning. Everything else was a fastball, topping out at 98 mph.

He threw 16 fastballs, three changeups and two sliders in the third. Jason Bartlett's two-run single, on a 96 mph fastball, gave the Twins a 2-0 lead.

Liz walked the first two batters. I thought catcher Ramon Hernandez would go to the mound after Liz fell behind, 2-0, to Brian Buscher. Didn't happen.

The Orioles replayed Bill O'Donnell's call on Doug DeCinces' home run on June 22, 1979, but it didn't get much of a reaction. Fans weren't ready for it or didn't bother paying attention. Too bad.
