A 4-2 loss

Danys Baez gave up his first run in four appearances, on a double by Andy LaRoche in the eighth.

Mike Cervenak homered in the ninth inning - the fifth one hit by the Orioles this spring.

Gomez might be the only one to make the 25-man roster, and he's not a starter.

The more that the Orioles see of Dubois, the more they like him. He was a substitute at first base today, a clear indication that the club is trying to find another position for him besides the outfield and enhance his chances of being another utility player.

Dubois had trouble tracking a pop up in the wind, and the ball fell in foul territory.

As long as we're talking about the competition for the last spot on the roster, manager Sam Perlozzo praised Freddie Bynum, saying he "adds a little life out there." Perlozzo likes Bynum's versatility.
