I'm curious if anyone will be attending this weekend's memorabilia show at the Baltimore Convention Center. I'll be there tomorrow to write a "scene piece," as we call it in the business. That means I'll need to quote a few fans. Don't be shy about rushing up to me with your opinions.

The list of former players and managers who are scheduled to attend is quite impressive. The Hall of Famers alone include Cal Ripken and Tony Gwynn, who will be inducted this summer, Earl Weaver, Eddie Murray, Jim Palmer, Johnny Bench, Rod Carew, Steve Carlton, Carlton Fisk, Bob Gibson, Mike Schmidt and Tom Seaver.

Check out the complete list at www.baseballsbest2007.com. You'll find a bunch of players from the 1983 world champion Orioles, including a pitcher named Dan Morogiello, who will be signing autographs today from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

I thought I knew that team pretty well, but I'll plead ignorance here: I have absolutely no recollection of Dan Morogiello.

So who were the six writers who voted for Jose Canseco for the Hall of Fame? I really want to know.

Howie Clark update, in case you missed it: He signed a minor league deal with the Padres.

Bruce Chen and Chris Widger are still looking for work.
