The other day a bunch of reporters were joking around about the Ravens offense, and we came up with a great way to keep quarterback Steve McNair healthy for the season. We say use McNair like a relief pitcher. Since he plays like Kyle Boller for three quarters of the game, then the Ravens should start Boller. Then halfway through the final quarter, head coach Brian Billick calls a timeout and walks out on the field. He ask Boller for the football, pats him on the butt and Boller walks to the sidelines. Billick motions to the locker room for McNair. He comes out of the tunnel in a golf cart wearing the all black uniform. He emerges from the fire and smoke with ACDC jamming on Back in Black. The home crowd goes nuts, McNair rallies the team again and every thing is right with the world, including McNair's body which is taking a beating.

Now on to more serious stuff, McNair has been meeting with the coaching staff on how to "tweak" the offense. If you're ranked No. 28, it's not a tweaking, but an overhaul. Anyway, McNair is concerned about losing left guard Edwin Mulitalo for the season with the triceps injury. Also, look for some trick play Monday night. You know how Brian Billick likes to jazz it up on national TV. I wish we could jazz it up 16 times during the regular season.
