The Orioles will play their makeup game against the Detroit Tigers today, and I can only imagine how many empty seats will be visible.

If a game is played and nobody sees it, does it make a sound?

We do know that a group of people will be exiting the ballpark at 5:08 p.m. as part of a "Free the Birds" rally staged by WNST's Nestor Aparicio, who estimates that anywhere from 5,000 t0 10,000 fans will participate.

They'll begin to gather at  Maggie Moore's Irish Pub and Restaurant around 11:30 a.m., wearing their black t-shirts, move to the Hard Rock Cafe an hour later and make the walk to Camden Yards at 2:30 p.m.

"We are encouraging everyone who is still sitting on the fence to come downtown, participate and raise their voices," Aparacio said in a statement released by the radio station.

Are any of you taking part in this? And what are you hoping to accomplish, besides probably emptying more than half of the ballpark?
