Pretty much everyone was annoying me on Sunday night's Big Brother: All Stars. Will for dropping out of the HOH competition so early, Mike Boogie's "Im rich, b****" shirt that spelled "I'm" incorrectly, George being such a martyr and trying to not accept the slop-pass from Marcellas, Marcellas being so condescending about said slop-pass, the closed-captioners using the wrong "its" in the captions, but most of all: Danielle.
Her prancing around and calling herself the "Black Widow" for winning HOH was so unnecessary. Erika handed her the competition (also annoying, by the way) -- Dani never would have outlasted her on the web. So: Shut up.
Whatever. So, she put up James and Janelle, with James as the pawn to try to deflect attention away from their alliance. As per usual, whoever wins veto could change things up significantly.
Also, in case you are wondering, I am not watching live feeds or reading feed recaps because I don't have enough time to keep up with that and actually live my life and also because I find the show stiflingly boring when I am reading feed recaps -- there is no drama whatsoever then. (Also, I was worried if I watched feeds and tried to post about the show, I'd inadvertently drop some spoilers on you guys, and I detest spoilers.)
I'm looking forward to the performance finale of So You Think You Can Dance tomorrow. I'm also psyched that I correctly called the final four. (It doesn't take much to make me happy.)
Speaking of finales, tonight is the first of the two-part finale of Last Comic Standing. I predict that Chris Porter and Ty Barnett will be the final two. Josh is funny, but overall, the other two were funnier. Last week, though, between the host's bad jokes ("Who let the dogs out? I'm guessing Mel Gibson," he says. WHAT? That's not only funny, but it's also nonsensical), the horrible opening credits, and opening act Jay London, it was a lonnnnng time before the funny people came out. Caroline Rhea amused me, but I couldn't really figure out what she was doing there until the commercials for Biggest Loser came on (premieres Sept. 20!). Anyway, tonight, final two perform (along with the online fan faves), and Wednesday is the results show.
I caught the first episode of Celebrity Fit Club 3 on Sunday. Looks like another season with a mix of characters -- and it almost seems like they managed to keep from casting anyone with a latent substance abuse problem this time. Huzzah from me -- that usually makes things quite a bit less fun. As per usual, the show comes on and I feel compelled to get on the exercise bike while it's on. I don't know why, but I'll take the motivation from wherever I can get it. Thankfully, BB doesn't compel me to start plotting against my neighbors -- it's only the fitness shows.
