Rain falls, as do the Orioles

Tonight's attendance: 37,063. At least half of them yelled "Hey Rem-dawg" to Red Sox announcer Jerry Remy before the game. So annoying.

Jim Brower continues to struggle. He allowed three runs and five hits in 2 2/3 innings. He also walked three and hit two batters.

Speaking of struggling: Jorge Julio made another appearance for the Mets tonight. One inning, two runs, three hits, one walk. At least he's pitching in New York, where the press will be gentle.

Daniel Cabrera walked six batters in the first inning. The last pitcher to issue that many walks in the same inning was Ryan Dempster on April 30, 2003 with the Cincinnati Reds. It happened in the second.
