When did Ron Artest hire Miguel Tejada as a consultant?

Artest apparently has approved a trade to Sacramento, after deciding that he didn't want to play there, after deciding that he did. He either wanted to leave the Pacers or he wanted to stay. Stop rushing him.

Artest: "I want out of Indiana."

Pacers: "You do?"

Artest: "No."

Pacers: "So you're staying?"

Artest: "No."

Pacers: "We can trade you to Sacramento. Would you go there?"

Artest: "Yes and no."

Pacers: "What does that mean?"

Artest: "Yes today, no tomorrow."

In the proposed deal, the Pacers would acquire Peja Stojakovic, who's either a member of the Kings or the old Winnipeg Jets.

Speaking of deals, Frank Thomas has signed one with the Oakland A's, who wanted him as insurance in case they couldn't find enough players for the disabled list. I've got May 12 in the pool.
