Every Thursday, That Fantasy Guy looks at some of the best and worst fantasy football plays of the week in the Fantasy Forecast.

QB - Drew Brees, Chargers: In his only matchup with the Chiefs last season, Brees threw for 378 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Also: Carson Palmer, Bengals; Byron Leftwich, Jaguars; Steve McNair, Titans.

RB - Cadillac Williams, Buccaneers: He's rested and recovered after a bye week. The Bucs are facing the sorry San Francisco defense. And Chris Simms is starting at QB. This works on so many levels. Also: Corey Dillon, Patriots; Thomas Jones, Bears; Domanick Davis, Texans; Ronnie Brown, Dolphins.

WR - Az-Zahir Hakim, Saints: Ah, the wonderful things he does -- Az has 17 catches for 293 yards and a score in his past three games. A reach, but one worth taking if Joe Horn remains on the Saints' bench. Also: Keenan McCardell, Chargers; Joey Galloway, Buccaneers; Jimmy Smith, Jaguars; Rod Smith, Broncos.

TE - Chris Cooley, Redskins: Always a threat to score, Cooley got in the end zone in both of the Redskins matchups with the Giants last season. Also: Ben Troupe, Titans.

K - Lawrence Tynes, Chiefs: Larry booted a pair of 50-yarders last week, a nice tuneup for what figures to be a shootout with the Chargers. The two teams combined for 106 points in two meetings last season.

DEF - Jacksonville Jaguars: The Rams have allowed 22 sacks on the season, and QB Jamie Martin doesn't exactly strike fear into the hearts of the Jags. The safeties are already creeping up.

SIT 'EM DOWN

QB - Daunte Culpepper, Vikings: Culpepper has thrown nine interceptions in three road game this season heading into this week's visit to Carolina. He's better off in Minnesota, land o' lakes aplenty. Also: Josh McCown, Cardinals.

RB - Mike Anderson, Broncos: If the Eagles can limit LaDainian Tomlinson to 7 yards, imagine what they can do to Anderson. Philly has given up three rushing TDs this season. Also: Kevin Jones, Lions; Rudi Johnson, Bengals.

WR - Torry Holt, Rams: Holt is doubtful with a strained knee ligament, and the Rams are facing Jacksonville's No. 2-ranked pass defense. Not worth the risk. Also: Nate Burleson, Vikings.

TE - Daniel Graham, Patriots: The Pats got a TE touchdown in both of their matchups with the Bills last season, but Buffalo is lock-down against the pass in 2005. Graham has more than one catch in only one of six games this season.

K - Jason Hanson, Lions: Hanson was held without a point in his team's Week 2 matchup with the Bears, a 38-6 loss. It's entirely possible he could get blanked again.

DEF - Philadelphia Eagles: Philly is tough on the run, but it's tough to back this bunch at Mile High, where the Broncos are 4-0 and averaging almost 25 points per game.

Byes: Atlanta, Indianapolis, N.Y. Jets, Seattle
