The Southeast District is outpacing the rest of Baltimore in street robberies this year, comprising 412 of the 2,073 street robberies in the city.

Street robberies 2017, by district
The Southeast District accounts for 20 percent of the city’s street robberies this year. At this time last year, there were 332 street robberies in the district, compared to this year’s 412.
The Central District was the only one showing a significant reduction so far this year from 316 to 224.
While few robberies occur south of Patterson Park, other surrounding areas are frequent targets for street robberies.

The areas surrounding the restaurants and bars in Fells Point are also frequent targets.
