Don't belittle Pence

Sun shows it has an open mind about candidates — as long as they are Democrats

"Wow" is all I can say regarding The Baltimore Sun's hit piece editorial on Gov. Mike Pence ("Pence's big night," Oct. 6). The consistently partisan editorial board must not have read the newspaper's own survey on who won Tuesday's vice presidential debate, but I did! Governor Pence wiped the floor with Sen. Tim Kaine, 72 percent to 25 percent, but that surely didn't influence The Sun's perception of the debate.

Instead, the entire editorial offered nothing but praise for Mr. Kaine who, by the way, did nothing but spew the same old tired talking points ad nauseam and interrupted Mr. Pence more than 70 times during the 90-minute debate. Mr. Pence was measured, knowledgeable and extremely polite versus Mr. Kaine who came off over-rehearsed, boring and rude.

The Sun never disappoints in proving it's not a newspaper but an unfair, opinionated rag!
