Brick Bodies will open a health club this spring at the redeveloped Rotunda in Hampden

A Brick Bodies health club will open by early June at the Rotunda in Hampden.

Brick Bodies Fitness Services Inc. will open a coed health club this spring in the redeveloped Rotunda shopping center in Hampden, joining tenants such as Mom's Organic Market and the CineBistro dinner-and-a-movie theater.

The club plans to focus on small group training and offers a spinning studio, a team training studio for boot camp programs, a turf training area, a yoga and barre studio, and a mezzanine with more than 60 cardio machines.

It will open by late May or early June on West 40th Street next to the 379-unit Icon apartments behind the Rotunda's main structure.

Brick Bodies, founded in 1985 by Victor and Lynne Brick, owns and operates health clubs in the Baltimore area with 27,000 members.
