Captain Avery Museum
Volunteers are needed to serve as docents and escort visitors through the museum from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays and at special functions. On occasion, they would be dressed in a costume typical of the 1860s. Training is provided. Information: 410-867-4486.

Help for troubled youths
Hearts & Homes for Youth needs volunteers 18 and older for tutoring, mentoring, internships, recreation sponsors, renovation projects, office assistance and beautification projects.
