Guiding Eyes for the Blind

The organization needs volunteers to take puppies into their homes for 14 to 18 months and teach them social skills and manners. Irish festival

Volunteers are needed for the fifth annual Annapolis Irish Festival being held Friday and Saturday, July 10 and 11, at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds, 1450 Generals Highway in Crownsville. Information: annapolisirishfestival.com.

Jug Bay Wetlands

Volunteers, children and adults, are needed to collect water samples, clear trails, weigh turtles, guide visitors on nature walks, draw maps, lead canoe trips, make posters, seine for fish, host at the visitor center on weekends and more.
