Memorial show The Anne Arundel Community College Printmaking Club is hosting “The M.J. Hedlund Memorial Retrospective Show” in memory of Hedlund, who took ceramics and printmaking classes at the college for almost 15 years before her death last November. Hedlund had donated 80 prints and about 200 ceramics pieces to the club, and the show of her work will open Wedneeday, July 22, and continue through Aug. 28 at the Cade Center for Fine Arts Gallery on the Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway. Jazz auditions The Anne Arundel Community College Jazz Ensemble, will host auditions open to college students and community musicians, on Aug. 2 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Cade Center for Fine Arts Room 224, Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway. Prepare two contrasting selections; those auditioning will be given the opportunity to demonstrate sight-reading and improvisation skills. Beer and wine festival The fourth annual Kegs and Corks Beer and Wine Festival will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds, 1450 Generals Highway in Crownsville. Tickets include a souvenir cup, limited samples of beer and wine, and entertainment all day. Food will be available for purchase. Musical entertainment includes live performances by The Reagan Years, Chris Sacks Band and Tropical Soul. Proceeds benefit the Chesapeake Bay Trust. Beach bash The Annapolis Maritime Museum will host its 11th annual Boatyard Beach Bash from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Annapolis Maritime Museum, 723 Second St. Among the musical guests is the John Frinzi Band, along with Coral Reefer steel guitarist Doyle Grisham, Peter Mayer and Scott Kirby. •The Rotary Club of Annapolis will hold its 70th annual crab feast from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 7 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis.
