Firecracker 5K The Firecracker 5K and Family Fun Walk will be held from 6:30 a.m. to noon at Kinder Farm Park 1001 Kinder Farm Park Road, Millersville. Annapolis Fourth Annapolis will host its annual 4th of July parade from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., starting at Amos Garrett and West Street, around Church Circle, down Main Street, left on Randall Street and ending at Market House. Then, the U.S. Naval Academy Band performs at 8 p.m. at Susan Campbell Park at City Dock, and the 4th of July fireworks are launched from a barge in Annapolis Harbor at about 9:15 p.m.

Beer and wine festival The fourth annual Kegs and Corks Beer and Wine Festival will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds, 1450 Generals Highway in Crownsville. Tickets include a souvenir cup, limited samples of beer and wine, and entertainment all day. Food will be available for purchase. Musical entertainment includes live performances by The Reagan Years, Chris Sacks Band and Tropical Soul. Proceeds benefit the Chesapeake Bay Trust. Beach bash The Annapolis Maritime Museum will host its 11th annual Boatyard Beach Bash from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Annapolis Maritime Museum, 723 Second St. Among the musical guests is the John Frinzi Band, along with Coral Reefer steel guitarist Doyle Grisham, Peter Mayer and Scott Kirby. •The Rotary Club of Annapolis will hold its 70th annual crab feast from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 7 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis.
