Spring Luau The Severn River Lions Club will host a Spring Luau from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at American Legion Post 175, 832 Manhattan Beach Road in Severna Park. The all-you-can-eat buffet includes a whole roasted pig, coconut fried shrimp, Polynesian teriyaki-glazed pineapple chicken, passion fruit/guava sweet and sour meatballs, coconut rice and salads, Maui brown sugar pineapple upside-down cake and toasted coconut cake with butter cream frosting. Beer and wine festival The fourth annual Kegs and Corks Beer and Wine Festival will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds, 1450 Generals Highway in Crownsville. Tickets include a souvenir cup, limited samples of beer and wine, and entertainment all day. Food will be available for purchase.
