Rebekah Kirkman

Rebekah Kirkman has been a City Paper arts writer since 2013, when she was an arts editorial intern. After receiving a BFA in Painting from MICA in 2014, and after a summer spent writing poems about the bus rides to and from her office job, she came back to CP to write about art, and to run the intern program and oversee fact-checking. Rebekah is CP's visual arts editor, where she critiques and celebrates the visual arts and how they operate in this city. In her limited spare time, she makes paintings from memory about things she sees while walking around, and tries to get her cat to be nicer.
