Best new chef: Malcolm Mitchell

The "Food Network Star" contestant is taking gastropub food to a new level at Ryder's, his first city endeavor. At The Kitchen Market, he has created a specialty food shop. His newest venture, Butchers Hill Society, focuses on boutique wines and brews with modern American food to match. The onetime chef to the likes of Mary J.
