Frederick N. Rasmussen joined The Baltimore Sun in 1973 as a photo librarian, and since 1992, he has been one of the newspaper’s obituary reporters. Fred also wrote the former “Back Story” column for a number of years and since early 2014, has been a contributing writer to the new “Retro Baltimore” feature.
