Global digital marketing agency, Jellyfish, has appointed Mario Schiappacasse to the role of head of display, US.
With over 10 years of industry experience, Schiappacasse has expert knowledge and experience of real-time bidding, programmatic buying, digital strategy and consulting as well as a proven track record of improving performance and efficiency for some of the world's most respected brands. Schiappacasse joins Jellyfish from Exponential Interactive, where he held the title of vice president, performance and strategy and was a member of the senior leadership team. Prior to Exponential, Schiappacasse worked at AOL, where he managed the display campaigns for a diverse portfolio of US advertisers.
Operating from Jellyfish's US headquarters in Baltimore, Schiappacasse will head up the agency's display team and offering in the US, overseeing the creation and delivery of display advertising strategies across all devices as well as video and rich media campaigns. Jellyfish takes a programmatic-first approach to display, aimed at driving brand awareness and maximizing clients' performance objectives. Schiappacasse will work across the agency's client portfolio, which includes CARFAX, Nestlé and Walden University.
The appointment follows a continued period of growth for the agency's display business, which is partly fueled by its status as one of only five DoubleClick Certified Marketing Partners in the US. Jellyfish serves as a trusted business partner of Google providing implementation, training, and the support needed for advertisers to be successful with the DoubleClick platform. Schiappacasse will report directly to the agency's global head of display, James Bourner.
