Capital Gazette wins special Pulitzer Prize citation for coverage of newsroom shooting that killed five

All things considered

If not for the uncertainty created by the Britton injury, this would have ended on a very upbeat note. The offense is starting to percolate and the Orioles won four of six games on the road against two of their most dangerous division rivals. They caught the struggling Blue Jays at the right time made the most of some thin offensive performances, but continue to hit well with runners in scoring position and ended the week still clinging to the best record in the major leagues (8-3). This is one week when the sum was definitely greater than the parts. What’s not to like about that.
