Temperatures will rise into the 70s today, and will fall back to an overnight low of 55. Clouds will move in this evening with a chance of rain after midnight. There is a chance of rain or showers each day through Friday. Remember the old adage, "April showers bring May flowers." Winds today will be out of the southwest at 7 to 14 mph.

The General Assembly session that began with a call for bipartisanship is poised to end with a partisan showdown on the budget.

A wrong turn at NASA can lead to trouble. Andy Leimer, dazzled by the sun as he made his way south on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway one day this year made a wrong turn into the restricted campus of the National Security Agency. He was charged with driving without a license and his car was impounded.

Yash Kanani, whose convenience store was robbed by an armed robber, was able to get the thief's car license plate which he relayed to the police. His swift action led to the arrest of Stanley Macklin who was wanted for robbing 50 businesses in Baltimore City and County. Now, the FBI says he's ineligible for the $12,000 reward that was posted by the agency.

FROM LAST NIGHT
The mayor's office expressed confidence Sunday that Baltimore police were responding adequately to a surge in city violence that escalated over the weekend.

The Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar under the Johns Falls Expressway opened for the season Sunday.

Police have identified the victim who was found shot to death in the 100 block of N. Pulaski St. as Jamar Green, 28.
