WEATHER
There is a freezing rain advisory for Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Anne Arundel and Allegany counties that will remain in effect until noon. Temperatures will top out at 50 today and will fall back only three degrees for an overnight low of 47. Break out the Speedos and bikinis, because the mercury is going to hit 70 tomorrow with a chance of thunderstorms. Today, winds will be out of the southeast at 6 to 12 mph.

President Obama announced Tuesday that 9,800 troops will remain in Afghanistan until the end of the year. He also said he plans to terminate America's longest war before he leaves office.
In the wake of a racist, sexist email that roiled the campus this month, students at the University of Maryland, College Park, spoke out at a forum Tuesday, expressing frustration with fraternity culture and unhappiness at the university's response.
A total of 442 people died on Maryland roads in 2014, the lowest number of fatalities since 1948.
