Good morning, Baltimore! Here's what you need to know for your Wednesday.

WEATHER
Wednesday will start off sunny but by late morning, clouds will move into the area. There is an 80 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms this afternoon which quite possibly could linger on into the early evening. Temperatures will  reach a high of 65, with an over night low of 39. Winds out of the west southwest will be 10 to 20 mph with gusts possible of up to 35 mph., so hold onto your hat!

Officials and community leaders welcomed Tuesday the U.S. Justice Department's announcement that it is opening a criminal investigation into Freddie Gray's death while in Baltimore police custody.

Tensions remained high across Baltimore on Tuesday, from the West Baltimore neighborhoods where hundreds of protesters called for the prosecution of police to inside City Hall, where council members quizzed police brass looking for answers as to how Freddie Gray died in police custody.
