As the 2015 General Assembly legislative session draws to a conclusion at midnight tonight, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake is scheduled to make a last-minute plea in Annapolis for bills addressing police brutality complaints, even though most of the proposals have already been killed or are stalled in committee.

If the gas experts are right, gas prices are expected to remain low or lower throughout the summer. Prices may go as low as they were in 2009 or even 2005.

The cornerstone of the newly refurbished Washington Monument which will be reburied this week will contain among other things a cast replica of George Washington's head that was based on a scanned 3-D version of the nation's first president.

Firefighters were responding to a blaze in a five-acre field in Fallston Sunday afternoon, local fire officials said.

Jadiq Robinson, 23, has been arrested and charged in the Friday stabbing death of his father. Billy Vines, 59, died at their home in the 1100 block of Carroll St. Robinson faces murder, assault and weapons charges.
