It's the age of aquarius, man. Three Dog Night's take on this song from the Broadway show "Hair" peaked at No. 4.

8. "Wedding Bell Blues," the Fifth Dimension

Speaking of the age of aquarius, the band that had a huge hit with another "Hair" track, "Aquarius" had a No. 1 hit with "Wedding Bell Blues." Written by Laura Nyro, the "Bill" in the song is Fifth Dimension singer Billy Davis Jr., who was engaged at the time to the track's lead vocalist, Marilyn McCoo. And -- awww -- the two are still married today.

7. "That's the Way Love Is," Marvin Gaye

Originally recorded by the Isley Brothers, Gaye had a bigger hit after he slowed down the tempo a bit for a "I Heard it Through the Grapevine"-esque sound.
