Winterplace Ski Resort has 90 skiable acres, but it also claims to be the largest snowtubing park in in West Virginia with 16 lanes for snowtubing and two super carpet lifts. The resort also caters to first-timers and families with a new expanded teaching area. Skiing starts in early December, with trails and the tubing park opening as the season progresses.
