Jon Stewart uses soul singer to mock 'friend' Anthony Weiner

After several nights of struggling with how to cover the so-called "Weinergate" scandal surrounding his friend U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.), Jon Stewart finally broke down and did the bit properly.
Stewart and Weiner are old friends and even shared a beach house together in Delaware during Stewart's younger years.
The friendship made for a couple of awkward nights of television earlier this week as Stewart gave the embarrassing incident only timid treatment. That all changed last night.
Stewart broke out an R&B singer to mock Weiner in the "full politicial sex scandal soul singer blowout" treatment. The soul singer properly referred to several of Weiner's obfuscating statements as "some dodgy bulls---"
Stewart also skewered some of Weiner's more absurd comments, such as when he told CNN's Wolf Blitzer that he was "investigating" whether the image of a penis was his.
"An investigation?" Stewart asked, sounding incredulous. "You know, I'm no big city detective, but why don't you just check inside your pants? ... Seriously? An investigation? Your penis didn't rob the Bellagio."
During the bit, Stewart also made a somewhat serious point to his friend:
"If you're sending pictures of your penis as bait to young women who follow you on Twitter, you gotta go," he said.
It's looking more and more likely that's exactly what he did.
