Thirty-nine people were displaced Thursday after a two-story home in the 5100 block of  Cordelia Avenue in Northwest Baltimore  caught fire. There were no injuries reported the fire department.

The Maryland Senate voted unanimously Thursday to move the state's 2016 presidential primary to April 26, three weeks later than scheduled.

More record-breaking cold could be headed for the Baltimore region after hours of steady precipitation left a layer of 6 to 11 inches of snow Thursday, disrupting work and school and creating treacherous road conditions.
