The Bucknell-bound Dulac truly began to break out last year as a junior, and her senior year has been even better.

She won the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland cross country championship in the fall and swept the 1,600 and 3,200 titles at the conference's indoor title meet this winter. Dulac set meet records in the 1,600 (5:02.02) and the 3,200 (11:14.61) as

McDonogh breezed to a team victory. But the biggest moment might have been when she qualified for the famous Millrose Games in New York.

Dulac got the final spot in the mile after running a career-best 4:56.32.

She struggled a bit in the race but still did well, running 5:06.8 to finish ninth. Eagles coach Jeff Sanborn said he was thrilled just to see her get the chance to run.

Dulac agreed, saying that week, "This is a great opportunity."

And it capped off a great season.
