Defensive backfield still has concerns

The Ravens gave their defensive backfield a facelift in the offseason, and the early returns don't inspire a ton of confidence. New cornerback Jerraud Powers got beat twice in the first quarter. Shareece Wright couldn't defend a fade pattern by 6-foot-4 Devin Funchess, resulting in a touchdown. Sheldon Price got his hands near balls but couldn't finish the job with interceptions or deflections. Sure, the Panthers scored just 19 points, but against Cam Newton for four quarters, that would have gotten ugly.
