Huck's American Craft's New York chicken and waffles

Huck's American Craft is as patriotic as a Philly cheesesteak, Wisconsin cheese curds, Amish chicken pot pie and other popular dishes from around the country. The small bar-restaurant, owned by husband-and-wife team Charlie and Lori Gjerde and business partner Carrie Podles, turns out a variety of regional foods. But our favorite is the diner standby chicken and waffles. The airy cheddar-and-herb waffles, interlaced with crispy boneless chicken patties, are luxuriously draped with white-pepper gravy.
