Big Lots, the closeout retailer, is opening a new store at Lutherville Station.
The Ohio-based retailer is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new store at 130 W. Ridgely Road at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 28th.
Big Lots buys closeout merchandise from manufacturers, then sells it at a discount. The company said its prices are 20 percent to 40 percent lower than at a discount store, and as much as 70 percent lower than at a traditional retailer.
The chain has nearly 1,500 stores, which offer a wide range of goods, including toys, consumables, electronics and furniture.
