Connections Education is the umbrella for several brands of virtual education: Connections Academy, a free online public school for K-12 students operating in 26 states; Nexus Academy, which blends online and in-person education for high-schoolers in three states; International Connections Academy, a private virtual school for students worldwide; and Connections Learning, which offers digital learning solutions to schools and school districts. The company has four locations in Baltimore and Columbia with 950 staff members.
