Celebrity weddings show an 'earthy, crunchy' trend

In recent celebrity weddings I've noticed a very "earthy crunchy" theme creeping in. There have been a lot of non-traditional settings, free spirit, wherever the wind takes you type of events within the Who's Who circle. Just take these celeb weddings, for example:
Natalie's wedding to Benjamin Millepied came complete with wildflowers, a vegan menu and a twig-made chuppah. They even gave guests wildflower seed packets as favors. Talk about keeping it down to earth!
When country singer Jake Owen married Lacey Buchanan, he was sure to keep it simple with a beach setting, linen khakis and a plain white shirt. And for this wedding, no shoes required!
This "Bridesmaids" star and his bride, Dawn Porter, opted for a three-day event (talk about making the moment last!) with a backyard celebration and matching tracksuits during the reception. Okay, maybe the tracksuits part is a little much ...
Never much for all the glitz and glam, Barrymore's wedding to Will Kopelman was held in the gardens of a Montecito home (very expensive but still a quiet, natural setting), filled with pink flowers and roses from the garden, perfect and simple for the season.
Do you think we'll start to see this trend hitting the mainstream?
