Cowboys pass defense

The Cowboys have had several injuries in the secondary and cornerback Morris Claiborne and safety Barry Church remain sidelined. However, the defense is active up front and gets enough heat on quarterbacks to prevent the secondary from getting exposed. Defensive end Tyrone Crawford is the team leader in sacks, but the Cowboys get pressure from the interior, as well. Rod Marinelli’s defense ranks 21st against the pass, allowing 263.1 yards per game through the air.
