Here’s a word from Pete: “Converting the rough-and-tumble of politics into information vital to voters has been a central part of a career in journalism stretching back to the era of smoke-filled rooms. I spent half the time as a reporter, 10 of them as a correspondent in Washington, D.C., and living in Maryland, and the last half as a political editor. I look forward to meeting you and sharing your stories.”

Leffler will start at The Sun on Feb. 7.
