Two men were killed and two others wounded by gunfire across Baltimore Saturday, including a deadly shooting in historic Loudon Park Cemetery.
There, police found a man around 8 p.m. who was shot in his head. He died at the hospital, police said. Officers provided no further information.
An hour later in West Baltimore, police found a 38-year-old man shot in his arm in the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Ave.
Earlier Saturday, around 7:30 p.m., a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his thigh checked himself into a hospital. According to police, the man said he was standing in the 4400 block of Furley Ave. in Northwest Baltimore when he heard several shots. He tried to run, but was hit.
Saturday’s gun violence began in the early morning hours. Shortly before 3 a.m., police in Southwest Baltimore were called to a shooting in the 3300 block of Jefferson St. The found a man shot in his face. He died at the hospital.
Some 152 people have been killed so far this year, according to police. They recorded 23 killings this month, following 39 in May, the deadliest month since 2015.
