James Earl Jones

After being the second actor to play former hospital administrator Dr. Jim Frazier on the longest-running soap, Jones became a major star whose career has spanned five decades. His roles have ranged from menacing (the voice of Darth Vader in the "Star Wars" films) to humorous ("Coming to America") to authoritative (the Tom Clancy films). For the Fall 2009 TV season, he'll return to his small-screen roots in a hospital with a guest appearance on FOX's medical drama "House." Wire Image
