Sept 29: Roman Polanski didn't 'rape-rape' a 13-year-old

While discussing the recent arrest in Zurich of director Roman Polanski, "View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg defended the fugitive by claiming that he didn't actually "rape-rape" a girl. Rather he had "unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor." Now, no one is denying that he gave drugs to and had sex with a 13-year-old girl even though she repeatedly said "no." Which is pretty much the definition of rape, regardless of him pleading guilty to a lesser charge. Not to mention the actual crime isn't what he's in trouble for. He's wanted for fleeing the country to avoid being sentenced for the crime he pled guilty to. Related: Celebrity Scandals of the 1970s ABC
