Way to promote the most boring part of the 'Spider-Man' mythology

"Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" finally opens Tuesday (June 14) after months of mishaps and budget overruns. To promote the musical, stars Reeve Carney and Jennifer Damiano performed "If the World Should End." So, let us get this straight - in order to drum up interest in your show that has been plagued by bad publicity, you put on a slow schmaltzy romance number between Peter and Mary Jane, which is the most boring part of "Spider-Man" anyway?
