'The East'

Release date: May 31

Brit Marling proved to be one to watch when her two movies "Another Earth" and "Sound of My Voice" premiered at Sundance in 2011. The actress and screenwriter has partnered with "Sound of My Voice's" director and co-writer Zal Batmanglij once again in "The East" to tackle the subject of extreme political activism. With Marling's two previous projects as a pedigree, "The East" has been earning plenty of buzz, but its trailer proved that this isn't a movie to be trifled with. "The East" features an impressive cast including Ellen Page, Alexander Skarsgard, Shiloh Fernandez and Patricia Clarkson.
