Sean Combs joins 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' spin-off

It's a story better suited to April 1: Not only is a sequel in the works to "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," Sean "Puffy/Diddy/Puff Daddy" Combs will co-star.

Combs has signed on for a role in "Get Him to the Greek," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Greek," produced by Judd Apatow and written by "Marshall" director Nick Stoller and writer/star Jason Segel, will follow the further adventures of debauched rock star Aldous Snow (Russell Brand). In "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," Snow romanced the title character despite the best attempts of jingle writer Peter (Segel).

The new movie will follow attempts to get Snow to a concert on time. No word on how Combs' role (that of a record producer) will factor in.

Jonah Hill is also slated to co-star, though his character is listed as Aaron Greenberg rather than "Marshall" waiter Michael.
