Nancy Reagan has ended up in the hospital the second time this year for a fall.
The former first lady is currently in the renamed Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center after fracturing her pelvis in fall at her home last week.
Regan, 87, took a tumble at her Bel Air home last week and only after she continued to feel pain did she admit herself into the hospital. Tests revealed she has suffered fractures to her pelvis and sacrum.
No surgery will be required, but Reagan is undergoing physical therapy. She will remain at the Med Center for a few more days till doctors are satisfied with her progress before returning home. All in all, her anticipated recovery is six to eight weeks.
Reagan is reportedly in "good spirits."
In February, Regan was in the hospital for two days after taking a spill, but suffered no serious injury. She was also briefly hospitalized after falling in her London hotel room in June 2005.
Reagan is the widow of former president Ronald Reagan, who died in 2004. Both were Hollywood actors but only co-starred in one movie together, 1957's "Hellcats of the Navy."
