'The Joe Schmo Show'

An elaborate hoax pulled on one poor guy, Matt Kennedy Gould. Stocked full of reality show stereotypes (all actors), Gould was the only "real" contestant who had no idea that all the ridiculous show dramas were staged for his benefit. The perfect earnest straight man to all that was perpetrated, Gould's anguished, voice-cracking, "<i>What</i> is going on?" still makes us chuckle. Plus -- not a hoax -- it was the launching pad for "SNL's" own <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PECLB0017764478" title="Kristen Wiig" href="/topic/entertainment/television/kristen-wiig-PECLB0017764478.topic">Kristen Wiig</a>.<br>
