Lords isn't the only new "Porno" co-star with actual porno chops. According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO's favorite chronicler of the adult industry Katie Morgan ("Katie Morgan: A Porn Star Revealed") will appear, as will the less porn-inclined Craig Robinson ("The Office"), Jeff Anderson ("Clerks") and Ricky Mabe ("Beautiful People").
Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks were previously cast as the two eponymous leads, lifelong friends who decide to make an adult movie in order to get out of debt, but quickly find themselves becoming romantically involved.
Smith's frequent muse Jason Mewes also has a major role in the movie, which begins production on Wednesday (Jan. 16) for The Weinstein Co. and Dimension Films.
With appearances in magazines like Penthouse and starring roles in films like "Those Young Girls" and "What Gets Me Hot!," Lords was the biggest name in adult entertainment in the mid-80s. The only problem was that she wasn't actually an adult, beginning working when she was only 16, prompting a major scandal and a Justice Department crack-down on the industry, rendering all but one of her early films illegal in the United States.
The scandal hasn't necessarily been a hindrance to Lords' subsequent mainstream entertainment career. Her feature roles include movies like "Virtuosity" and "Blade," while she's appeared on TV shows ranging from "Profiler" to "Gilmore Girls" to "Andy Barker, P.I."
