Scarlett Johansson is set to join Natalie Portman and Eric Bana in an adaptation of Phillippa Gregory's historical novel "The Other Boleyn Girl."
Directed by Justin Chadwick, "The Other Boleyn Girl" focuses on the rivalry between Mary (Johansson) and Anne (Portman) Boleyn, who both aspired to win the heart of Henry VIII (Bana).
According to Variety, Sony will distribute the film domestically, Focus abroad. Production will begin this fall in London.
Johansson continues to eschew vacation. Most recently seen in "Match Point," the actress has a busy fall lined up with Woody Allen's "Scoop" (July 28), Brian DePalma's "The Black Dahlia" (Sept. 15) and Christopher Nolan's "The Prestige" (Oct. 27) awaiting release.
