'It's Complicated'

Writer-director Nancy Meyers, a specialist in humorous love stories largely from a woman's point of view ("The Holiday," "Something's Gotta Give"), does it again - with Meryl Streep as her muse this time - in this entertaining tale.

The star plays a woman who gets involved with her ex-husband (Alec Baldwin) when he runs into problems with the younger wife (Lake Bell) he left her for ... just as an architect (Steve Martin, also Baldwin's recent Oscar co-host) takes an interest in the Streep character. DVD extras: "making-of" documentary; audio commentary by Meyers, executive producer Suzanne McNeill Farwell and editor Joe Hutshing. *** (R: AS, P) (Also on Blu-ray)
