Ben Silverman at NBC: Misses and more misses

When Ben Silverman introduced NBC's 2008-09 schedule in April of last year, he said this: "These are shows I've been waiting my entire career to put on air." That quote may have something to do with the fact that 14 months later, Silverman is leaving NBC -- and none of the shows he put on the fall '08 schedule are surviving with the new regime into 2009-10. The supposed savior of the network leaves behind exactly two series -- "Parks and Recreation" and "Southland" -- developed during his tenure that are returning in the fall, and the network is still in fourth place in the ratings. Here's a look back at Silverman's NBC legacy. -- Rick Porter, Zap2it
